All players are welcome! Zero experience needed!
The Columbus Women’s Rugby Club was formed in 1991 in Columbus, Ohio. Currently, we play in Division I for the Midwest Rugby Union. For the Fall 2024 season, we are adding a Division II side to our club! We are also known as CWRC, or the Squirrels (our mascot). The Squirrels travel around the East side of the Midwest for league matches.
We are not just athletes either! Our teammates are doctors, software engineers, lawyers, teachers, nurses, designers, artists, students, and moms. We are dedicated to building and fostering a radically inclusive rugby community in our city through teamwork, leadership, and discipline on – and off – the pitch.
